Martial Arts & Combat Sports cover a good variety of martial arts from judo, karate, to boxing and street fights. It even shows how you draw the uniforms, weapons, and proper poses and positions for each discipline in great detail. Interestingly enough, this book shows martial arts moves that you can literally put to action yourself as it shows it step-by-step.
This book is basically a reference for martial arts moves - proper throws, kicks, punches, etc. It doesn't show special effects like motion lines and so forth. For someone who is familiar with these moves this book becomes pretty much irrelevant to use. If you're looking to show your moves in motion (using action lines and so forth), get your hands on the Illustrating Battles edition.
